Between the 20th and 23rd of September, the 7th edition of Cheese is celebrated in Italy. Cheese completely takes over the town of Bra, in Piedmont, Northwest Italy, as well as Pollenzo, the nearby town where the Life Foster partner, the University of Gastronomic Sciences (UNISG) is located. During the fair, the LIFE FOSTER will be represented in two main events. The first, which is scheduled between 3pm and 4pm, Franco Fassio and Nadia Tecco from the UNISG will represent the results which have been gathered from the interviews collected in the project. Following this, Carlo Catani, creator of the recovery times project, will provide visitors with an in-depth explanation on ice-cream recovery, giving examples on how one may create ice cream cones out of original ingredients which are close to their end-of-life, such as parmesan cheese, overripe fruit and broken biscuits. On all three days, between 5:30pm and 6:30pm, one may enjoy an ad hoc workshop on the ice-cream concept mentioned above.
