The LIFE FOSTER project partners met in Madrid to exchange updates on recent activities, to discuss upcoming activities and tasks and other important agendas.

During the two-day meeting, the partners discussed various topics including the training of the trainers and students, following the training of the trainers in Conegliano in Italy earlier this year. Throughout the meeting, the partners also discussed required contents for questionnaires aimed at assessing trainers’ and students’ awareness of food waste and related solutions, as well as tools required to assess restaurant staff’s increased awareness and changed behaviour. The partners also brainstormed on video production ideas, to promote the project in the best way in all the partners’ countries.

The partners have already started with the training of the trainers and students, so as to reach the first year’s target numbers.

The next meeting will be held in Valletta, Malta.
