HostMilano, which was held between the 18th and the 22nd of October in Milan, is the world leading trade fair dedicated to the world of catering and hospitality. The fair is used as a point of reference for restaurateurs and a provides a platform to connect to various established businesses.

With such a strong target market presence, it was necessary for the Life Foster to be represented.  The project’s partners, the University of Gastronomic Sciences represented the project on the COSTA Group stand on Monday 19th October. Representatives from UNISG, Silvio Barbero, together with Franco Fassio and Nadia Tecco explained the important role of training and education within the project. The representatives also emphasized on the importance of the RETHINK, REDUCE, REUSE framework and how circular economy principles can be adopted, starting from menu planning to food surplus and waste management.
