FOOD 4 FUTURE

The Food 4 Future Summit (17^th to 19^th of May 2022, Bilbao) has been the perfect stage for disseminating the LIFE FOSTER project!!

The Spanish Confederation of Educational and Training Centers (CECE), in collaboration with the Escuela Superior de Hostelería de Bilbao (ESHBI), networked, making contacts with HAZI and ELIKA Foundations from the Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment of the Basque Government.

Connections with new European Projects, like FOODRUS from the Horizon Programme, were established. We had the chance to explain Life Foster Project on the main stage of the fair and in a TV studio.

The students of the Escuela Superior de Hostelería de Bilbao, as ambassadors of the project, explained to the attendees how the training has changed their mindset on food wasting and their culinary practices, both in their daily and working life!

Now, more than ever, people are concerned on sustainability: the future is, and must be, zero food-waste.
